We are C3, a long-standing, evolving spiritual community that offers an
alternative to organized religion that thoughtful, compassionate people often are seeking.
We are doing well and we are looking for a full time Leader
to help us grow. We believe our growth is contingent on:
1) a thought -provoking message delivered each Sunday morning, and
2) reaching out more effectively to those who don’t know us, particularly those who would diversify our community.
The Leader will be joining a community that is proud of its democratic
organization, a community that is not looking for someone to sit at the top an organizational chart.
We encourage leadership from all quarters of our organization and want to continue that mode of operation.
We ask the Leader to focus on the two areas mentioned above:
1) To deliver half of the annual Sunday teachings, and to help connect the
teachings of our guest speakers as we focus on a specific core Community
value each month.
2) To reach out to the larger community and help C3 become a hub for
progressive action. This will require regional visibility using multiple
The Leader also will provide personal and spiritual support to members of our C3 Community,
keep regular office hours, preside over life events, and act as the supervisor of paid staff.
Coming to West Michigan means living on the shores of Lake Michigan, one of
the largest bodies of fresh water in the world. We have excellent schools, and moderate taxes and cost of living.
