SUMMARY:Coast Guard Kids Parade
DESCRIPTION:In less than a week\, C3 Kids will participate in the parade on Saturday\, July 25! Please gather at the large Ottawa County parking lot on Franklin Street by 9:15 a.m. Judging is at 9:30 a.m. Franklin Street closes at 10:00 a.m.\, and the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. The route is a twelve-block loop that takes a little less than an hour. SUMMARY:Vigil for Peace and Justice
DESCRIPTION:Join us after the Kid’s Parade! Bring a sign or borrow one from us. We meet from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays\, along Washington Ave. at Central Park in Grand Haven. Please note we will NOT gather on August 1\, due to the Coast Guard Festival Grand Parade. Bring a chair if sitting is more comfortable for you. C3 and Stand for Peace Michigan are identified as co-sponsors of the event\, so it’s a good way for C3 to be a presence in the community. We don’t march or shout\, but rather stand or sit quietly\, meditating on peace and sending our peaceful intentions into the world. Will you join us? Contact Chrys Moelter-Gray for more information.
