Vigil for Peace and Justice

C3 continues to join Stand for Peace Michigan in hosting the Vigil for Peace and Justice each Saturday from noon–1:00 p.m., and now that the weather is a bit more agreeable, we will meet in Grand Haven’s Central Park, and stand along Washington Avenue. The exposure isn’t as great as at the corner near the bridge, but it’s a more family-friendly location, so we’re extending the invitation especially to families! Last week, seven people took a stand—and the average age was 75.6 years young! Everyone is welcome to join us, either standing, or by bringing a chair to sit. We keep practicing safe physical distancing and wear masks—although if you are fully vaccinated, you may choose not to wear your mask, since we’re outdoors. We have signs, or you can bring one of your own!
