Speakers: Berny and Corrie Snoeyer are longtime C3 members. In 2020, Berny self-published the book The Wolfert Letters: Family and Friend Correspondences During World War II (edited and translated by Berend Snoeyer). Today’s teaching is a conversation between Berny and Beth Buelow about the family and community on which the book of letters is based.
Musicians: Steve Weideman is also a longtime C3 member and former C3 employee who worked magic at the sound/tech table. We know him as a member of the band Catfish and the Man, as well as Funky Brewster, with his daughter Goldie. He has played at C3 quite often, and is joined today by Jackson Erne.

– Guido Gezelle (Flemish Poet, 1830-1899)
When the Soul listens
Everything alive speaks a language
Even the softest whisper Has a voice and meaning Leaves on the trees Eagerly speak their name
Wave lets in the stream Tell of their journey
Winds that stir the clouds Reveal that when the soul listens It can hear when a smile is born
Or the welling of a tear.
