Beth Buelow will be with us on Sunday for an exploration of C3’s value of Well Being with her teaching, Wisdom and Well-BeingBeth has been part of the C3 Community since March 2018 and has loved every minute of it. She’s a business owner; leadership, team, and mentor coach; author, speaker, and mediator, and she’s busy adding photographer to the list of ways she wants to be known in the world.

Emilee Petersmark has been a member of the Grand Rapids band the Crane Wives for a decade. She has also worked as an acclaimed visual artist, producing original artwork as well as commissions for musicians like the Accidentals. She has a growing collection of songs that don’t fit the band or felt too personal for the Crane Wives, and it is these unreleased songs she will perform for us this week.

Last Sunday to Update your Membership Directory Photograph

With the COVID interruption we have not kept our membership records up to date. One more time, this Sunday, June 19, we will be taking pictures to update our membership directory. For some it will be your first time, for others it will be an update. Look for the camera in the Mackinaw Ballroom after the Gathering, and grab this opportunity to be included with a current photo!

Civil Rights and Social Justice Organizations List

During the Civil Rights Road Trip Teaching’s Talk Back, the suggestion was made to compile a list of the favorite civil rights and social just organizations supported by C3 members. There will be a place in the lobby for a few weeks to note the civil rights and social justice organizations you find valuable and would like to bring to others’ attention. You may also share them by email with Chrys Moelter-Gray. They will be compiled and shared in the near future.

PRIDE Focus at Our Vigil for Peace and Justice in June

C3 has welcomed and supported the LGBTQ+ community since the 1990’s. We want to share that support and welcoming message with the greater community though our Vigil for Peace and Justice during June. We would love to see a great group of C3ers join the Vigil for PRIDE Peace and Justice event this Saturday from noon–1:00 p.m. along Washington Avenue in Grand Haven’s Central Park. Let your creative juices flow, make a sign promoting justice and equality for all LGBTQ+ folks, and invite friends to join in this purposefully inclusive event. Can you put it on your calendar?

Grand Haven Parks Clean-Up Blitz

Many thanks to all who participated in C3’s Grand Haven Parks Clean-Up Blitz. They collected trash at Bolt Park, East Grand River Park, Harbor Island, and along the railroad tracks in Grand Haven in May as part of our C3 value to care for the earth.
